The story is completely different for natural vs processed.
The sugar in a whole raw carrot is completely different from sugar that has been dried, stripped, and crystallized into pure evil. The package matters - calorie density, fiber and water content, antioxidants, fructose ratio all matter.
There is reason to suspect that processed sugar consumption ( crystallized or HFCS) is uniquely harmful among common calorie sources.
When I dropped sugar my teeth quit cavitating, my breath improved, my energy improved, my fatty areas shrunk, and my food started tasting better. It’s been years now and I am not going back. Your results may vary.
Depends on your BMI/ body fat %, if you are already down to 5-7% body fat then your muscles will be drained of glycogen and shrink a bit in size until they are replenished, you will also be feeling pretty drained energy wise.m
If your body fat % is 20% or higher then your body will eventually start utilizing body fat to produce its own glycogen/ keytones
I recently cut back on sugar. Started a couple weeks ago. I eat a lot of fruit now which has natural sugars in it but I only drink zero sugar drinks now, or light lemonade and juices that are low on sugar. After about a week I was really tired for a few days but now I just feel normal and might sneak in a jolly rancher or something
Nothing, except some naturally sweet or more bland things might taste more sweet now. If you eat a lot of it and replace it with more nutritious foods you might feel better.
I’m assuming you mean added sugars.
