Answer

You might just be tired. You might be waiting too long between meals/snacks. You might be eating too much carbohydrates in one sitting and not enough fiber, fat or protein. I would suggest meeting with a registered dietitian to work out the details. You might have access to a RD through your university.

Answer

Chronic nap after eating-er. Personally any carbs will knock me out after eating. I can eat a pound of meat with zero sleepy feeling afterwards. When you eat certain foods that cause insulin spikes it can come with a crash after.

Answer

I know that if I eat a lot of simple carbs and/or fatty foods, it sends me into that food-coma so commonly felt. Wholesome foods (more vege, whole grains, lean protein) will help energize you and prevent your blood sugar from crashing.

You may also be just lacking sleep and water in general. I know sometimes when I feel tired, a glass of water picks me right up (your system needs it to digest too)…
