OAMD question

OMAD* my bad I currently work Fri-Sun 12 hour shifts and don't fast those days but would like to start OAMD during my days off (M-Th). Problem is these days are usually pretty slow and most of my time is at home other than running misc errands. How do you handle getting to OAMD when you are having slower days and/or just at home more?

Answer

It’s been a challenge for me this time around. Part of the reason I’m not losing much weight, I guess….I don’t eat until about 5 but I do eat potato chips and some nuts at that point. I’m thinking about going Paleo for a while until I start losing again. It’s just been really difficult and I’m not sure why.

A good trick I’ve found on a slow day is to start prepping the meal you’re looking forward to long before it is time to eat it…

So, sometimes I’ll chop & roast a whole bunch of veggies that will then go into a soup or a casserole which will then cook for a few hours while I add other flavours and spices. Makes the house smell awesome while you wait and it’s a true feast when you finally sit down to eat it all!

Great question! Let’s see, I took up gardening, lawn maintenance, ran power to my shed, rebuilt a bicycle, painted 3 rooms, re grouted bath floor, started doing volunteer work…

Basically I have to keep busy and away from the fridge
