okay, ladies!

here I go! day 1 is in the books. I'm hoping to go somewhere between 2 - 3 weeks. (water, coffee, tea, and occasional diet coke, supplementing electrolytes as well). I never, ever, ever thought I would be this person. holy shit. I'm excited!! I literally don't even know who I am once you take food away.

Good luck!! It’s a wild ride sometimes and that is a long time to go! I admire your determination!! :) I have read lots of books, had a cleaner house, done my makeup more, ordered more things from the internet (oops), and currently planning my little backyard garden. Do you have stuff lined up to do?

I really get what you’re saying about the “take food away”. One perk for me – because I have weight to lose – is it really changes my upper torso and how stuff fits. Emotionally, it also just feels good. It’s “final” and not a lot of decision making. I will say that I had to kick diet drinks, I thought they’d help me stay on track but with nothing in my stomach the bit I did drink was really unpleasant. It was like chemicals just swishing around in there – but to be fair, the sparkling water also felt strong to me (and I usually ONLY drink sparkling water!).
