Omad

How many people do omad here? I’ve been fasting 24 hours a day. Have one meal usually a salad with a egg and some cheese and tuna fish. I add low calorie dressing and olive oil for fat. I’m 41 years old. Starting weight was 275 I’m down to 237 lbs now.

*raises hand* and congrats on your progress to date! I have been on 23:1 since the stone age at this point. I was actually larger than you were at your heaviest when I first started. Me at 300 vs me now where I hover between 175-180

Congrats on your progress! How long have you been on OMAD?

I have gradually pushed to OMAD, and was surprised at how well it works out. I enjoy thinking less about food decisions throughout the day and I look forward to one nice big meal - usually a rice and meat dish, salad or sweet potato with protein.

Ima newbie so I am still figuring out what’s best at 2 months in. On days when I’m coordinating meals with family or have a hectic work schedule, I tend to drift back to 20:4 or less, but it still seems to be working, albeit slower than I’d like!

I do OMAD! 34 y/o female, SW 165, CW 152, GW 125.

I fast daily for 23 hours, and eat in a 1-hour window. I calculated my TDEE (1600 calories) and aim to be in a deficit each day, so 1200-1400 calories in my one meal. Sometimes I have a lighter meal planned, so I break my fast with avocado, nuts and cheese and then end my eating window with the meal itself. Sometimes I make a big bowl of goodness (greens, protein, healthy fats, minimal carbs) and just eat that. Half of the days I end my eating window with some fruit.

Great job on your progress so far! How do you feel?
