Omad plus extended fasting?

Hi everyone! I'm starting a journey to lose 20kgs/44lbs during the summer (in around 10-12 weeks) and I made a plan that could help me drop this weight in the timeframe that I set. However, I haven't seen much feedback on this method so I was wondering if anybody had previously done this or something similar and if yes what were your results? Here's a full plan on how its gonna go: Monday-Friday: OMAD (no keto but calorie counting) Saturday-Sunday: Fast (approx. 70 hours of fasting before my omad refeed on monday) My current stats are: 168cm/5'6 SW:76kgs/168lbs GW:56kgs/123lbs With this in mind, my plan is to lose at least 1.5kgs/3.5lbs per week so I want to know if this method is too simple or just right for my goals. Feel free to comment and leave your opinions thanks! Ps: I have previous experience with both omad and extended fasts and they have always given me great results so I decided to mix them up this time around to see if they would yield better results. I also plan to walk 15k steps everyday to bring up my activity levels.

I consistently lost 15 lbs per month w/ Keto OMAD. I really like this plan.I believe 72s have tremendous health’s benefits. I feel you should have no problem reaching your goals on 5 meals per week. The sooner you add a little resistance training, the more muscle you can preserve while losing a higher percentage of fat. Go get’em and let us k ow how it goes.

I’ll be very interested to see how this goes for you. You have similar goals (well, this was my goal before I gained weight recently) and height as me. 2 years back I did something similar to what you’re doing and I did manage to lose around 16kg but I was much heavier…I think I went from about 88kg to 72kg. Longterm, I went from 93 to 69kg. I did OMAD, increased my daily steps (plus I ran a few times a week) and did as many 48-72hr fasts as possible.

I could imagine it would become a lot harder once you get into 60‘s. I’d expect you might need to incorporate some weight training at some point. Anyways, good luck and I hope you post your progress! It might help motivate me! (I sadly put 20kg from going off antidepressants so I have to start from scratch)
