30M 5'-11" Lurker here, first post. Been doing IF since around Christmas time. SW 340 (clothed at Dr office) Oct 30, 300.6 this morning (just underwear).
It was hard to do OMAD at first but gradually I started to be able to make it longer. I commonly do 48-72 hour fasting (atleast two days, eating whenever convenient on the third day).
What I am wondering is which is more effective for burning fat. I am not overeating during my meals so I am not worried about over consuming calories, usually a salad with vinaigrette or piece of steak. I lean towards the extended length fasting because you're spending less time waiting to go into your fat burning state, but I am wondering if I am approaching this correctly

Am I reading this correctly, you have lost close to a lb a day? I suppose some of that could be change in fluid but even so that is a very fast weight loss which I understand would risk losing muscle. Having lost weight twice myself and put at least some of it back each time I wonder if for me that happened. Whilst tempting to maintain I think you may be best to switch to OMAD.
It’s an incredible achievement though and there probably isn’t a right or wrong answer and it’s what works for you. There is tons of advice about eating breakfast etc. which for me just doesn’t work.
