Palatable electros

Ya i know, quit being a pussy, fatty. And yes I am a fat pussy, so I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on making electrolytes palatable. My longest fast was 120 hours but the dizziness was intrusive during work. I have Fastlyte but the taste is almost unbearable. So I was thinking 6 to 8 fresh lemons squeezed, a cup or 2 of stevia and a scoop of Fastlyte. No protein in that concoction so no disruption to autophagy, and not enough carbs to interfere with ketosis. Thoughts?

Answer

I made the juice weaker at first because it was hard to get used to. Then I slowly increased the salt to the actual amount in the recipe. Currently I add cayenne pepper and ginger powder to it because I like the taste. Also because ginger has anti inflammatory properties and cayenne can boost your metabolism and help you feel less hungry.

The snake juice is an acquired taste, for sure. I mean, it’s salt water. Ew. But eventually you’ll get used to it. Starting with a weak solution was helpful for me. And just sip it slowly.

Answer

I haven’t tried Fastlyte but I got the snake juice packets and I don’t mind the taste, it’s just like saltwater. Lemon concentrate could make it better, but might damage your teeth.

One thing I would look into is whether stevia will spike insulin. You might have a cephalic response to the sweetness and that could raise insulin and reduce your fat burning.

Answer

LMNT electrolytes. They are a bit pricey but 100% worth it. Clean minimal ingredients. I mix one with a la croix. Snake juice makes me hurl, even if I make the concentration weaker. LMNT salt with a bubbly la croix is perfection.
