I lose one pound per day when I do extended fasts. I anticipate gaining half of it back once I start eating again. I’ve never done the math on the refeed gains but telling myself that makes me feel better 🤷🏼♀️
You have to think more on a long term trend because lots can affect your weight loss (and regaining)

I regularly do 5 days and I’ve dropped close to 15 before going in very dirty (sweet/carb heavy). I’ve also lost “not a lot” in comparison (\~4lbs) when going in really clean on OMAD keto

My monthly trend, however is \~10lbs a month unless I deliberately try to bring my weight back up

Also, to build on the trend idea: fasting is a marathon, not a sprint. Make it a style of living. Create a cycle that you keep going back to. For me, actual water fasts only happen 4-5 times every 3 months. However almost all of my meals in between are OMAD. So in that sense, I’m fasting in one way or another \~80% of a given month (I have “free feed/treat” days planned)

It’s not a straight line so if you are thinking “hey, I’ll just jump into a 14 day fast because I can drop X lbs because someone said so” - that isn’t going to be a good long term solution to whatever goals you’re trying to achieve

Good luck and I hope you find healthy, sustainable ways to achieve what you want
