F46 SW87.3 CW84.7 GW68 16/8 I’m back on IF as perimenopause has done such a number on me I gained a stone with my baby 5yrs ago that I lost most of with IF and peri has added that back and more. I really want to get back to my happy weight that i maintained for years.
I’ve been back on IF for 4 weeks and the last time I did it the weight fell off me, this time it’s hardly moving.
I’m on hrt now so hormones are stable and I’m mostly sleeping again. I’ve given up alcohol and refined carbs, bought a standing desk and I’m running round after my little one again. I’m constantly freezing cold even in a warm room.
Does anyone that’s gone through this have any advice for me?

F48, Perimenopause on HRT (and antidepressants but that is a different story). Really struggling to shift the weight. At my heaviest 2 years ago I did manage to lose 9kg with strict Keto but felt the diet was so restrictive. I started IF this year on 16/8 and now 18/6 with a low carb diet of approx 50g carbs per day instead.
My scale shows very little loss but I can wear my engagement ring again after 6 years and my jeans are a size down from last year, so are you measuring your body stats and other NSV (non scale victories)?
