I get what you mean, I’ll get to day 3 and begin to reason with myself to break it for any excuse. Longest I’ve done is 4 days almost 5 and broke it.
I think for me that helps is having diet soda or bangs ( I know not everyone will agree) but I stay in ketosis and drop weight every week, and it’s a nice little treat because I’m a weak bitch. But if it helps you get more than 1 day mabye try that, not sure if it degrades the effects of fasting.
I just finished a 14 day fast. Ate for 2 days zero carbs. And back to fasting again. Kinda easy in retrospect ngl.
What kept me going was realizing the food is just good tasting food I want. I’m not hungry just want tasty food and quick pleasure. I keep in mind the regret I’ll have if I eat and that it’s just not worth it to break the fast. Also drinking electrolyte water or snake juice. I’ve lost over 20lbs fr the fast but overall down 40lbs since weight loss.
