I have never fasted for weight loss so it’s weird to see a bunch of posts on here where people obsess about every gram they lose and then try to analyze how their metabolism is speeding up or slowing down when the reality is the average person can just expect to lose about half a pound of fat for each day fasting (I don’t know your activity level but your probably going to be below this given your weight). The scale doesn’t remotely reflect what’s going on when it comes to the amount of fat being burned, this is why it’s so important to keep up on your electrolytes for extended fasts. You really don’t want to lose more weight at this point because it will probably just be water weight. If you go another week without losing a pound it’s important to realize that doesnt mean your not burning fat. I would guess your down about 8-10 pounds of fat right now. A couple days after you refeed you can accurately gage how much fat you actually lost and do the math equation on how much you burned on an average day. My goal if I were you would be to be above 145 at day 30 because if your below that I would worry that you’re more dehydrated then anything. 17 days is super impressive and best of luck the rest of the way! Stay hydrated!
