Male, 30, 5'7, 201 lbs
In December I started doing 3 full day fasts a week (usually a 36 hr followed by a 65 hr later in the week). On 05/12 I weighed in at 208 lbs, and on 23/12 I weighed in at 201 lbs, losing 7 lbs between those dates.
So this first week of January I resumed fasting and followed the same fasting pattern.
I found that according to the scales this morning, I lost 7 lbs during this week, which I'm happy about but I'm taking it with a pinch of salt as it seems weird to lose so much in one week when I lost that same amount over 2-3 weeks in December.
I'd appreciate any thoughts or feedback on this. I'm aware there are a bunch of factors that can affect the scales, rate of loss, etc, so I'm curious to hear your take.

So from my experience (33 F 5’4”) in 7 day fasts I usually drop about 12-14 lbs on the scale but likely about 4-5 lbs of that is actual fat which I can easily see looking at myself and my measurements. I usually expect the scale to only retain about 40% of the weight lost once I start eating due to glycogen stores and water weight and food weight. Taking your measurements or using a piece of clothing that fits tightly when you start is also a great way to measure. For me, being able to actually fit in a dress I could barely breathe in when zipped up was a better show of progress than numbers on the scale!
Keep at it and don’t let the numbers always dictate your success. You’ve got this!
