Few things to realize
First you won’t get hungrier. Hunger you feel on day 1 is the same level you feel on day 3. You don’t get progressively more hungry.
Secondly Hunger comes in waves. They last for me at least 45 min to 1 hour. So when you start feeling hungry remember that in less than 1 hour it will go away for next 4-5 hours. Ride a wave and you will be fine 1 hour from now isn’t too far away.
Thirdly Drink, drink and drink some more. I can easily go through 4l of fluid in a day it makes it so much easier. If cravings are particularly bad black coffee can take those away. I know people will fuss over it but I will have my with 2 sweeteners to have some flavour and works well for me.
Finally. Electrolytes take them even in shorter 36h fasts they matter. As extra bonus I like to keep some salt not dissolve when I crave a flavour in my mouth I will take a pinch of it and just lick it.
I am at a point where I can go into McDonalds with friends and just order black coffee and be fine.
