I'm a 59 year old male, 6' about 225lbs and would like to become leaner as I'm getting older. When i get up in the morning, I'm not craving breakfast, which is a good thing. When it's time for lunch or dinner, I tend to finish every morsel on my plate...regardless of whether I'm hungry or not. Not good.
I'm thinking about doing a modified IF where I graze throughout the day during the 16:8 but ultimately i'm restricting calories too because I'm not eating a large portion during a sit down meal.
Any thoughts on this? What I don't want is for my metabolism to slow down and I think by feeding my system small amounts throughout the day will keep my system fired.
I'd love to hear from you if you have an opinion on this.

I had the same problem just 10 days ago. After I started IF the feeling quickly decreased. I sit down for a full meal and make a picture to record how much and what I’m eating. Very often I’m not finishing the whole meal and I’m so happy about it that I take a picture of the unfinished plate. How crazy is that? Crazy good!
