I find all food disgusting, so I only eat the same three meals every day as it’s cheap and easy. Is this diet okay, or am I missing any important nutrients?

Breakfast:Oats, seeds (pumpkin, sunflower, linseed), walnuts, dates, bananas, with soy milk. I go heavy on the seeds and walnuts for the extra fats and proteins.

Lunch: peanut butter sandwiches. A handful of raisins and. A glass of grapefruit juice

Dinner: 5 eggs lightly fried in olive oil. 200g of either salmon or pollock. 300g of kidney beans. 250g of spinach. 300g of either carrots, peas, or broccoli

What do you think of my diet?

Looking back on my life I can say for sure that I haven’t always had the best diet. I’m always trying to make small changes that hopefully add up.

My diet kinda revolves around the following

  1. Coffee and pastry to get going
  2. One main meal per day
  3. Ensuring I eat 5 pieces of fruit and veg across the day which I do (usually from vegetables at dinner, bananas, Oranges, cherry tomatoes, kiwis, olives)

So I don’t really prioritise having loads of meals. This allows me to have some junk food and treats too but I feel like that’s not so bad as I eat 5 a day and also don’t really cross the calories I need.

Current about 69kg at 172 cm. Male 40. Not overweight but think my weight would be in an even better place with less junk food and exercise.

I’m 5’5 160lbs and I’m trying to just eat healthy. I’m not interested in weight gain or weight loss, maintenance and proper nutrition is my goal. For breakfast I eat 3 eggs and oatmeal with banana, I sometimes swap the eggs for a protein shake. For lunch I just started meal prepping I eat baked chicken(or salmon), brown rice with black beans, sweet potato, and broccoli. In terms of getting proper nutritional needs what would be the ideal dinner for me?

Tl:dr: bkfst 3 eggs/oatmeal/banana lunch chicken br rice beans sweet potato Broccoli…what’s for dinner??

Answer

Thinking about switching to all veggies with tuna and salmon for a while. If I consume daily tomatoes, cucumbers, celery, onions, apple cider vinegar, cumin, pepper, turmeric, and a hefty portion of raw fish, what nutrients am I lacking?

Answer

Trying to figure out why eating pasta at night makes me sleep better, feel more rested when I get up in the morning, think clearer, and have an all around better mood. It does this when other, healthier carbs do not, like sweet potatoes or quinoa.

Answer

Does anyone know reasons why fatty foods might make me gag?I’m talking avocados, greek yogurt, tuna salad, sometimes eggs, etc. Doesn’t seem to matter where the fat comes from, but I have to eat these things with salt or carbs with a high salt content, otherwise my gag reflex kicks in.I don’t get nauseous or sick, so I’m trying to figure out why I can’t eat these foods that I love on their own. . .

Answer

Are any of those powered shakes, such as huel, any good as a meal replacement? I spend a lot of time working out and have a full time job, so finding time to plan, make and eat every meal that contains balanced nutrition can be difficult. If they work as advertised, they would be very convenient for me as a once a day thing, but I’m very skeptical and don’t want to waste money on it if it doesn’t live up

Edit: FYI I do meal prep every week so it’s more to save me time on actually eating if I can just drink a shake in the car. I also find it difficult to time my meals with my workouts. I don’t like working out on an empty stomach, but I really don’t like workout out after a just ate solid food. Sometimes it’s the only time I have, so I have to do one or the other and something like this might fix that

I’m currently 22 years old, 66kg and 179cm, I’m looking for definition, I have no idea how much calories I consume per day, but my diet is being as restricted as possible, consuming only rice, beans, eggs, sweet potatoes and fruits during the day. day, in the morning just a wholemeal bread with coffee, I calculated my basal calorie and the result was 1,715.60 KCAL, based on that should I consume more calories?

Answer

I’m 6’4 215 lb and I decided to start cutting recently. Im going down from 4500 calories to 3500 calories. here are my current nutritional stats based on a 3500 calorie diet. Just want to know what anyone with experience thinks about this.

Im getting around 320g of protein, 258g carbs (the 30g sugar is all natural from fruit), and 137g fat. It’s a lot of protein, but it fits within the recommended 1.5g per lb.

My appetite is up and down, and so is my weight as a result. Sometimes I can barely choke down a piece of toast. I’m wondering if meal replacement/protein shakes would be a good source of nutrition on the days I have trouble eating and if there is one or some that would be better suited to my situation than others?

Answer

I lost my appetite and couldn’t eat much due to upset stomach just about to start eating. I munch a little food in between meals but it dont make me full. I lost weight but not intentional. Is there a way i can do and eat to boost my appetite and sustain my energy?thanks

Answer

So Im bulking right now. This is my diet everyday.

As you can see zero fruits or veggies. Its not like I dont have room for it so why? Someone told me I have an eating disorder since I get disgusted by most fruits or veggies.

Anyway, Ive been eating like this as long as I can remember. I went to my doc and they said no vitamin/mineral defficiency.

And no constipation. Free flow.

Okay to continue like this?

Answer

Is a 4 or 5 day week of fruit diet be sustainable?

I would be eating fruits throughout Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and maybe Saturday. I would be eating a variety of fruits to try and get all of my macros, but will also be taking some vitamins.
