Hi all, I am not someone who is used to having heavy breakfast (usually have a sandwich in the morning with coffee). However, over the last 2 weeks or so, I have been very hungry in the mornings and needing to eat more than my usual sandwich. If not, i start feeling irritable and moody, or weak and unable to focus. I am getting a good amount of sleep (8 hours or so) everyday , so I don’t think that is an issue. Is this normal? Also, the last week, I was active outdoors during a corporate visit and used to have heavier breakfast at the hotel. Am i just overthinking it and should I just listen to my body and eat more? It’s just a new kind of feeling and I am just trying to figure it out.

I’ve been planning on soaking 20g of chia seeds in water for a couple of hours and then drinking that to get a good bit of fibre - but I don’t know whether it would actually give me any nutritional benefit! I have read that milled is the best way to extract maximum nutritional value from chi seeds, but don’t really want to have to prepare something to mix the milled seeds in with (I do add a mixture of milled seeds to porridge/yoghurt/milk when I’m eating those). Equally, I don’t want to be making some other sort of food to mix chia seeds in with - the point of the chia seeds water was to have a quick and easy hit. So I really want to know whether there is any benefit, or will it just go straight through me?

Howdy im 24 5’11 and flux around 290 I’m very heavy but through genes I carry alot of muscle in my upper body and calves/thighs however I have a large gut for the past month I’ve basically changed my entire diet. With me changing my diet I have seen almost zero weight loss and I’m pretty active at work averaging 13-19k steps per-day. I’m currently doing three scrambled eggs with a small pinch of green/red peppers and alittle onion plus a very small bit of cheese a single piece of sour dough toast with a very small amount of strawberry jelly. Lunch I’ve made premade meals Chicken about quarter of a breast one cup white jasmin rice broccoli cauliflower and shredded carrots. I’ve been good with sticking to this having only one day missed in nearly a month because I forgot my lunch at home when I was rushing to leave for work. And for dinner I’m allowed to have whatever is made but in a single regular sized portion where I was having two or three. Previously I was eating cereal every day for breakfast typically jimmy johns or mods pizza a whole large solo or whatever my work provided. this is my first time reaching out for help but I dont want to be over weight my entire life I’ve always been a heavy kid and I want to try and get myself to a point I can be happy. This Isn’t a want anymore this is a I need. Thank you to anyone who helps
