Results?

I’ve been doing OMAD Monday to Friday since October 11th. I eat at around 5:30 every night. Black coffee at breakfast and lunch. I don’t count my calories but my meals are not outrageous because I can’t eat that much anyway without feeling very uncomfortable very quickly. I’ve lost about 8 pounds and my clothes definitely feel looser. In anyones experience how long does it take to lose significantly? I’ve got like 100 lbs to lose.

It’s not a bad pace. 8lbs in 6 weeks is 1.33lb per week.

How weekends are going could be the biggest thing effecting the loss and speed. Might want to examine that a bit further.

To my knowledge, it is usually the losses to start that are the biggest.

It’s so variable from person to person that it’s hard to say. 1.3lbs a week is more than reasonable if you’re worried about efficacy, though it’s a narrow enough loss that as you approach your goal weight you’ll likely have to start restricting calories in order to maintain forward momentum.

My own experience has been fairly spotty. After a fairly dramatic loss of weight in the first few weeks it’s gradually slowed. I’m down about 20lbs overall in the past two months – that’s 2.5lbs a week, which is great, except that I’ve lost very little over the past few weeks. I’m hoping to make up the difference with increased exercise and more explicit calorie restriction.
