What has been your experience with running while doing rolling 48s?
I'm in a maintenance running plan and run about 20 miles per week at the moment. I just finished a half, will begin training for my first full marathon (Jan 2022) in the fall. My "long" runs are 8-11 miles atm, and I plan to do those on feed days. I'm 29F 5'8" CW 189 GW 150 or less, and I run suuuuper slowly. 12:30/mi pace on long runs usually.
I plan to use Cole's concentrated snake juice recipe for electrolytes since I sweat so much, but I'm mostly concerned about running fasted. I've only ever run truly fasted when my runs are 3 miles or less (on longer runs I will eat a banana beforehand, but it's still a crutch), and I've never done a fasted run after more than 12 or so hours of "fasting" (so really not hardly fasted). Any tips? Is this a horrible idea?

Good luck!! Give it a shot and listen to your body!! It’s amazing what our bodies can do. You’ll know right away if you’ve hit some kind of wall or wandered into some unsafe territory and you can course correct. Humans have been doing wild endurance exercises (by choice or by necessity) forever and I’ll bet you’ll surprise yourself.

January marathon. Houston???
I’ve been doing Rolling 48 for about 7 weeks now. Best fasting routine IMO. Walking 6 miles a day, but no running yet. Maybe someday soon. I’ve did a half marathon a LONG time ago. That was enough for me. :-)
