Hi! I’m 27F, 5’2” about 174lbs. I had my first baby 6.5 months ago and just started my second round of IF two weeks ago. I was able to do IF for about three years before I met my husband 2 years ago. It worked well, became a lifestyle and it was mostly for weight management as I was about 135lbs then. This round is actually much easier to get back into! My goal weight is back to 135lbs and toned, but right now I’d be ecstatic to drop 5lbs.
I’ve been alternating between 16:8 and 18:6 with water or tea during fasting. Are all types of tea allowed(obviously not sweet tea)? I mainly do herbal or black tea. Some teas have berries for flavor though. Sometimes I use an Allulose baking blend for a sugar substitute.
Anyway, I haven’t noticed much weight loss yet. I don’t have a workout routine, but I try to go on long daily walks with my son. Might get some ankle weights for those soon. I definitely can be lazy with sticking to a scheduled workout. How soon could I see some weight loss if I dedicate 30mins daily for strength or cardio?

Are you by any chance nursing? Just wanted to mention that while I was breastfeeding my two kiddos, literally nothing I did would change my weight. Then as soon as I stopped, I used IF to drop about 15 lbs in three months or so. Good luck and have fun with that baby!

What will work:
Eat no more than 2 meals per day, and do not snack in between meals. If you’re getting hungry between meals it’s because you didn’t eat enough protein. Don’t drink any calories. Do strength/resistance training 3 or 4 times per week. Try to keep the carbs low, and focus on protein above everything else
