Hey everyone, I am on day 3 of a 5 day water fast, I woke up this morning with an elevated heartbeat, Sort of feels like I just got done with a set of cardio and my heartbeat was elevated for a couple of minutes, walked down the stairs and I am just winded feeling the same type of heartbeat, i started sweating from just sitting on the toilet lol.
I have been drinking tons of water, sprinkling Pink Himalayan Salt in there.

One thing that I feel might be affecting me is the fact that I got very little sleep last night, not due to the fasting, I was feeling completely fine and haven't had any real hunger I just couldn't sleep because I was coding and didn't want to get off lol I'm also really burpy and had some acid reflux while I was up

Aside from that, I do feel a lot weaker today but I'm not sure if its because of the lack of sleep or the fasting. I am loving the weight loss went from 218 to 206 this morning.
What do ya'll think? Appreciate the any help:)
Edit: Just to be safe im going to stop my fast now, I'll make sure to be more prepared with potassium, magnesium and sodium for the next try!

Yes, anything heart related = end your fast. Also, ‘sprinkling’ salt is likely nowhere near enough. To be sure, put 2-3 teaspoons in a small dish and make sure you use all of it throughout the day, every day.

Looks like the others took care of it. Yes definitely stop and eat and reevaluate. Definitely sounds like you need more than salt. Potassium and magnesium for the longer fasts. I don’t have issues going 2 days but any longer I’ll add in the electrolytes
