I’ve just read this article about people taking breaks from their skincare routine in order to see the full affects of fasting for the skin. I’ve had really bad acne for many years now and I have a skincare routine that I do 2x a day. Has anyone heard of this? Is it something I should try?

I started fasting for skin reasons, it really helped my acne in my late teens/early 20s and overall brightness. At the time my weight way in point. I still did my skin care routine as needed- but nothing more (no masks, peels, etc) and I made sure to drink lots of water.

Try a 48 hour fast - see how it goes! It really helped my skin. From what I understand, your goal for ski clearing is to kick into autophagy. Using a tracking app might help you know when this happens.
