“Snake Juice”

I’m curious, what do you all think about this concoction? It’s supposedly great for long term fasting as it replenishes your electrolytes. I’m on the fence about using it myself. Something about pure water seems “right”, but then again, I could be wrong. For those of you that don’t know what this is, it’s basically 2-3 liters of water with added salts such as potassium, magnesium, etc. etc.

Answer

I started off at:

Pink salt: 5gNo-salt: 5g

Then I slowly reduced by around 0.5g each per day until the fog started to creep back then added 0.25g to each and stuck at the end figure of:

Pink salt: 2.75gNo-salt: 2.75g

I never had any fog after that. Your body will be different and may need more or less electrolytes so play around until you find the sweet spot.

Answer

The proponent of “snake juice” is a very angry man that believes AIDS is not caused by a virus. I automatically take anything he sells or promotes and assume it’s garbage.

That said, the general principle of replacing electrolytes while fasting is a good one, and it has nothing to do with “snake juice”. There’s lots out there about replacing electrolytes. You could research it.

Or do what I do and sip on pickle juice.
