I usually get hungry around my typical eating times, like noon or 6PM.
If you know those temptation waves are coming at specific times it is a little easier to manage them and know they fade away gradually.
Soda water helps me get through any hunger waves and I usually have hot tea around dinner time. If this is your first time fasting more than 24 hours, I would try for no more than 72 hours.
Be really careful with working out, no more than moderate intensity and light weights. If you push too hard, you can pass out and also your body will need nutrients to repair your muscles.
Other than that drink water like your life depends on it and make sure you replenish electrolytes.

I use fasts as an opportunity to use my good quality loose leaf teas. Fasting definitely makes tastes much more obvious, so I like to try out new fancy teas or just enjoy my favorite classics, in their pure unadulterated form (aka, no milk or sweeteners)
