Starting fresh again

Looking for some advice here, I’ve done a 16:8 IF in the past but worked an 8 hour 5 day a week job and didn’t have a set of twins. Currently working a 2-2-3 12 hour night job and just wondering how I could go about setting my meal times. My days off I am up during the day with kids and sleep at night.

A few ideas. I would maybe look to finding a schedule that shifted based on it being a work day or day off. This might sacrifice a few hours of fasting when you needed to switch, but would still maintain a reasonable consistency in the long run. So maybe that’s like 16:8, but you shift the hours.

Another approach would be to be less strict on specific fasting hours and focus more on keeping eating to two meals a day with little to no snacking. This would give you a lot of flexibility to place those meals when you needed them.

Finally would be working up to something like OMAD or OMAD+. Trying to get the bulk of your calories in one go, with OMAD+ adding a flexible small meal or snack to play around with the timing of.
