Starting tonight

29 year old male SW: 220 CW: 207 GW: 185 I'm planning to do rolling 72s until I'm down to 185. However I'm curious what works for people to maintain a weight once you arrive? I've seen some say OMAD some say 48s. Wondering if OMAD with the occasional longer fast is best? Also read about dry fasting for loose skin? Can someone confirm. Let's get it everyone!

I vote omad if you simply want to maintain, depending on your goals and whether you are lifting or not. Rolling 48s you’d likely continue to be in a defecit and unless you are eating 5000cal refeeds would start eating into your lean mass, at least that’s my understanding of how the body works. I was previously doing omad to lose weight before the snake diet and still lost weight, but I’m working in a trade so burn 3000 at least a day combined with biking to work. Omad would be best psychologically too and then the odd day if you don’t feel like breaking your fast could pull a 48. Again really depends on your situation and relationship with food.
