I would say no. But it depends on your goal. OMAD should be more or less one meal. So, if you need to eat 2800-3000 to maintain at 170 lbs, then one meal should be around 900-1000 calories. Now, if you want to maintain eating 1400 to 2000 calories, perhaps you can move to every other day fast, or ADF.
OMAD at this point helps me maintain. I like to eat a decent amount and eating less than 1400 in a meal as my OMAD just isn’t for me. I like to eat until satisfied, but when I do that, I stall out for weeks. I can sit on the fact that technically, I haven’t plateaued unless it has been 8-12 weeks, but if you still have 30 plus pounds to lose, you probably can tweak something to break past the lack of fat loss.
Oh, I forgot to mention that when I went back to extended fasting, I lost weight on schedule. No more plateau.
