Hey guys... Well, I broke the fast.
Ate some kimchi and steamed rice without issue. Besides the normal bathroom breaks, lol.
I didn't weigh myself during, but I started it at 117lbs and ended it at 109.8lbs.
I know that probably doesn't seem a lot to people, but I historically always lose weight slowly.
I am planning on doing more fasting for the rest of the month, so I'll be eating for the next few days (a homemade soup filled with a ton of nutritious stuff). After the couple of days, I'll be doing some form of ADF for the remainder of the month. I don't necessarily have a goal weight but would be more comfortable with it being closer to 105lbs if possible.
I will also be spending some time thinking about how to improve my body in the new year and I think I may start training for some type of marathon. I have a treadmill I bought recently, and I will probably start the 'Couch to 5K' program and then go from there. I'd like to complete a 10k marathon this year with a decent time.
On the plus side, I feel great. My clothes fit wonderfully again and I am glad I caught my weight creep before it got out of hand.
Happy Fasting, everyone!

Your posts have been very inspirational! Thank you for taking the time to write about your experience.
I’m preparing (mentally, researching electrolytes and talking to my boyfriend so he’s not caught off guard) to start fasting in January. I will be thinking about you and probably going back to read your posts for motivation lol! Have a lovely holiday season and good luck with your running.

You are inspirational. I am not overweight and closer to my goal weight and have a hard time losing. I am hoping to attempt longer fasts this month. Could you please advise me on what electrolytes you took and how frequently during your fast?

What’s your advice on electrolytes?
What do you do for electrolytes?
I am just very confused. I don’t want to over do it, but I don’t want to be sipping on that stuff all day. (I’m a teacher and don’t get a lot of potty breaks ;( )
