I would start by moving to OMAD (one meal a day), and it would be even easier if you also adjusted to a ketogenic diet.
Your hunger should subside once you stop craving carbohydrates and having insulin spikes.
I’ve done a few 3 week+ fasts, and when it gets really tough I have a mantra I repeat to myself.
I am not an animal. I do not need food. I just want the enjoyment of food.

I really think it comes down to carb consumption. I 100% think more about food the more I consume carbs, esp refined ones. I’ll have a cookie or something “just to satisfy the craving”, and it always makes it worse. It’s nowhere near as bad when I cut out sugars, and definitely not when I do keto.
