Spit is liquid that is being produced by your body and is already in your body, so you’re not adding extra liquid to your body.
You haven’t said if you’re doing a fast yet, or if you’re planning on doing it, but I find that you don’t have much spit to swallow, what I have I use to lubricate my mouth.
