I do soft DF and I swim in lakes or the ocean and I absolutely love it. I would not swim in a chlorinated swimming pool, I think I’d be sick from the chlorine. I get very sensitive to smells and I can’t take chemical smells. I felt overwhelemed with the smell just walking by the pool aisle in Walmart yesterday (day 5 of my DF) .

No. My take is that your absorbing water from the outside makes the dry fast easier, but easier is not necessarily bad. The incoming water is filtered by your skin and does not interfere with the making of endogenous water.
