Too cold to fast?

Anyone also feel like stopping intermitten Fasting in the winter? Is that normal to feel that way or am I just too sensitive. My country just had a sudden attack of winter, snow everywhere, temperatures make my shiver in warmest coat I have, and I only have a bike to get to school, 2km ride. Sadly I feel like pausing the IF or reducing to 14-16 only while I was doing mostly 18 to 24 everyday! I require food and I really feel it now that its not just windy and chilly anymore but actually theres a snowstorm, I felt like tired and moody without food today and didnt complete my IF for the first time in 4 months out of uncontrollable hunger.

Look up workers in the south pole. They go on excursions for research and would out there they down a lot of candy. Chocolate, sweets, donuts, juice. The cold makes your body fight to warm itself. You might just feel like you’re hungrier in the cold due to the increase of calories utilized.

About 18 months ago I started playing around with cold exposure. It started with a quick burst of cold water at the end of my morning shower and I now do cold baths with ice. This has really helped me in the colder months. I no longer feel the cold the way I used to and I don’t feel the need to eat like I used to want to eat in the colder months. There have been a ton of other benefits but these are the most relevant to your post. I truly think this is something everyone should try.
