I allow myself one treat day a week. Still eating within my window but I eat less healthily than usual. However, if I let this be 2 or 3 days in a row, I struggle to get back into making good choices. It’s a slippery slope!
Every 6 months or so I take a weekend or week off. I feel indulged and reset and ready to restart again after. Often it jump starts weight loss for me if I’ve plateaued. I exercise everyday, and I like to take a one week break every 6 months or so as well.
