I wonder if there is a difference in terms of benefits.
It’s also throwing me off because 2x48 = 96, which is larger than 72, but both regimens involve two full days of not eating, so the math seems kinda wonky. I know I’m an idiot lol….
Regardless, the choice is go from Tuesday night dinner to Friday dinner, or Tuesday dinner to Thursday dinner, then again to Saturday. Anybody got an opinion on which would be more beneficial in terms of weight loss or autophagy? Thanks.

You can’t just compare the total number of hours, because different things happen at different stages of fasting, and the ramp up time is a larger percentage of the total fasting time on the shorter fasts.
Also depends on if you stay in ketosis on your feeding days.
Both are good though, just depends on what you want out of it and more importantly how you can make it fit your lifestyle consistently.
