update

Okay so 2 months ago I made a post in this group venting/ranting about my struggles with weigh loss until I started IF . . . Well here's an update and it's an scale victory one 🥳. I am officially 235 lbs that's 15 lbs down 😭. I am not on any diets, I simply eat under 2,000 cals (dw, it's not consistent lol), 8 hr eating window and sometimes just fasting for a day or 2. The past week, I have been sick and it's been hard for me to eat so this could be the reason why I dropped it so fast. I was just 248 lbs last week and even with this I was afraid that I weighed wayyy more due to stressful times and fear of overeating (obviously not the issue) so I hope this helps anyone who is feeling discouraged about IF. It takes time but it definitely worth it.

hey there, happy for you and the progress you are making in your journey with IF. Today i guess I’ll just say Im feeling discouraged too so it must be that type of feeling thats got me feeling “off” pace. Im definitely gonna hang in there with it and I do agree that it takes time and isnt an overnight kind of a thing, the same way diet and exercise in general take time too. 33 days into doing IF and switching from 18:6 to 16:8 because I feel like I need a little bit of a break sort of. Still finding my way through it.
