I am about 26hrs into my 36hr fast (my first time) and I work nights I just drank about half of a sugar free redbull before realizing I messed up, I am just wondering if my fast is completely screwed up or is it still fine because it is only 5 calories

I haven’t had many cravings after the initial 12hr period and I am now starting to experience hunger and can’t stop thinking about food
Is this normal or was this potentially caused by my mistake of drinking the redbull?

Just keep going. It may have raised your insulin levels, but that doesn’t mean you need to throw in the towel. It’s a good learning experience, you’re practicing, and you’ll still get lots of benefits from your fast. Hang in there!

At 5 calories, it technically broke your fast, but many people do “dirty fasting” where they have a few calories a day so I wouldn’t sweat it, just keep going. It likely had a very small effect on you, so keep pushing forward!
