I’m not sure about IF, but I’ll say my anxiety was greatly reduced after a couple months of keto. Lifelong issues, just mellowed out. I still had it, it just wasn’t so constant or severe as usual. Within a couple weeks breaking keto, it came back. Caffeine too, it sounds obvious in hindsight, but it was mimicking anxiety symptoms and kind of amplifying the whole situation so cutting that out also played a role.
I have zero experience with tics, but if they’re brought on by stress or anxiety or exacerbated by it, you may consider low carb or keto as part of your IF plan or just on its own. Doesn’t hurt to try and see how it goes, but if you do, be patient, again it took a couple months for me before I realized how reduced those symptoms were.
