Since husband is away on a business trip I decided to give a longer fast a go this week. I’m 42 hrs in and I am going for 120.
So far I am extremely hungry lol. Cooking meals for my toddler doesn’t help. Nor does my husband telling me about all the awesome eating out work is paying for while he is away.
Just gotta keep busy.
Ate soooo much this weekend on an out of town trip. Worth it, but time to get back into some weight goals because my clothes are not fitting how I’d like.
On hour 24 currently, water/coffee etc. Thinking about stopping when my weight hits 148lbs (currently at 156 down from a very bloated 161 yesterday). It’ll give me some wiggle room for the inevitable but small gain after the fast.
148 was where I was at a couple months ago. And then hopefully back into keto when I eat again! My groceries are appropriate, at least.
Oh, and I have a wedding this weekend. Gotta look good in front of boyfriend’s ex who hates me. (Petty goal, I know, but still secondary to how I feel about my body)
Update: got really sick last night, like hours-on-the-toilet sick. I think I messed up by talking electrolyte supplements too early, and maybe too much coffee and stress (one magnesium citrate pill, a couple cups of pickle juice, five cups of coffee throughout the day). Broke around 34 hours with some peanut butter and a hot dog no-bun.
Not the worst, but still sucks. I’ve never had this issue with electrolytes before!
I’m currently on 34 hours, my longest fast is 47 hours. Not sure whether to keep going after that mark or not, I’m feeling hungry/sick and my belly keeps rumbling! Trying to drink salt water this morning but it made me feel a lot more sick last night. Any tips on how to keep electrolytes balanced whilst fasting?
I’m sitting at 2 weeks right now planning on continuing onto a third. Feeling really good but I’m keeping conscious of stressors which don’t make me hungry exactly but uncomfortable… almost like the precursor to a stress binge but it luckily never comes to that. Hopefully I’ll have this kind of self control when I’m eating again and stressed 🤞🏼

This is my first fast ever for a 60 hour water fast. On day 2 now and while I felt super hungry yesterday, today I’m feeling renewed and really enjoying the way my stomach feels. It was a bit hard to fall asleep last night and i’m worried about tonight. Would love any ‘good sleep’ tips from seasoned fasters!
