Today is day 4 of our group fast. We will be doing a 30 day dry/water fast. Some of the members have transitioned into the water phase of the fast but I will be dry fasting a little longer. 3,6or9 days is ideal. The longest dry fast I ever did was 8 days. Today is day 4 so now I’m going to start light exercise in my home gym nothing too intense as this won’t be necessary I just enjoy working out while fasting to pass time. Working out while fasting also helps you not become stagnant and keeps everything moving. Some machines I like using are my vibration plate and elliptical.

I’m on day 2 of my first dry fast ever (soft dry fast). I went straight into it without much prep. Just made sure I stayed hydrated a few days before. Day 1 was relatively easy. I had a mild headache towards the end of the night and I actually couldn’t sleep. It was more from the alertness as the headache was probably a 2 out of 10. It went down to a 1 out of 10 this morning after I did 15 minutes of Wim Hof breathing (which I do every morning) and I thought I would try the tiny bit of salt trick under my tongue. The headache is now gone. Incredible! I’m not sure how long I will fast yet as I’ve been reading about how you shouldn’t set too much expectations, especially when it comes to dry fasting. I’d be happy to get to complete 3 days, but I will see how I go. Feeling a little bit weak but my mind is clear. I keep a /dryfasting tab open and have literally read every recent post to keep me motivated. I don’t think I’ll weigh myself until tomorrow. Feeling a little bit lighter though.
