I switched from IF to ADF (alternate day fasting) for that reason. I do 40:8 (but currently working up to 42:6 with just 2 healthy meals every other day). That way I’m in autophagy longer.
So far just fine lines and wrinkles have gone off my face and neck (48f) and even tho the weight loss picked up, the extra skin didn’t seem to.
So that leaves me hopeful that over time I’ll eat bunches of the extra skin. I’m giving it a year. I’ll continue this level of fasting even after reaching weight goal (as long as my weight stays safe) so I can continue to feed on the extra food I’ve left behind (in the form of skin/protein).
Some things people have posted can help: longer fasts, collagen, dry brushing and dry fasting (look into how to do this safely). Dr. Fung says they have never referred anyone for surgery, his clients tend to do longer fasts. Skin will continue to tighten for up to 2 years.
Depending on the area, adding muscle can help fill out the skin.
Good luck!
You might want to look into weight training for muscle tone & definition. You don’t have to all Mr. Universe either. Toned muscles will help take up some of the slack.Either way you are a winner in my book with your fabulous accomplishment!!!!!
