I’m also a beginner, but what has been working for me is something small but high protein such as plain Greek yogurt with fresh berries and a handful of keto granola, or a protein smoothie with greens, berries, almond milk and protein powder.
I actually find eating a larger meal after I fast (I do 16:8) makes me feel kind of heavy and gross, so I prefer something smaller at the time my fast ends, and then I’ll have a balanced lunch and dinner. For me simply skipping breakfast and eating a big lunch doesn’t work, but I know a lot of people who do it this way so it’s really up to how you feel.
