What can I do to prepare?

Just wondering, alot of the things I've seen are during and after the fast, but I'm wondering what I should do before. 180 pounds, male, already cut most sugar out of diet, currently eating one meal a day no snacks. I'm thinking of eating Christmas dinner then fasting, no idea how long, but at least 3 days. I was 195 pounds in at Thanksgiving, but I've read that true fasting will be much more effective than intermittent fasting, hoping to look good by the time jackets come off. Ideally 160 ish, I don't want to be toothpick thin but I want my muscles to show. I'm thinking I'll continue my current exercise while fasting even though I likely won't derive any beefier muscles from it. Thanks for any advice/recommendations.

I def like extended fasting better for weight loss and as others have said I don’t know if one is better than the other. Extended is def better for cell repair, healing and mental effects. But i do it bc I like to binge lol.

I’m not sure if multiday fasting is better for weight loss than a solid intermittent fasting plan. How are you doing with the one meal a day plan you’re currently doing? You should be losing a good amount of weight unless you’re taking into many calories.

Regarding preparing for a multiday, I think you’ve already laid great groundwork by reducing sugar. I think you want your last meal to be as proteins/fat based as possible.
