Is there a specific supplement you take or do you just add a mix of salt and nosalt to a water bottle and sip the water bottle throughout the day? Any recommendations on how much sodium and potassium I should take while I'm fasting?
Answer
I use a combo of regular sea salt and NuSalt when I’m cooking or baking, and in the summer, I would add the Keto Chow fasting drops to a can of fizzy water if I was feeling a bit wonky (usually when I drank a lot of water).
Answer
Depends how long you fast. If it’s less than a day you can just add a sprinkle of sea salt to your water. Sodium is the first electrolyte you lose when fasting. If you fast longer than a day you could need something more.
Answer
- I have jars of lo-salt everywhere.
- I now feel coffee and water lack something, if I forget to add it.
- I salt my stir-frys with copious soy sauce.
- And often a side serving of salami.
- I have started salting desserts and cakes.
- Whipped cream in particular tastes much better with salt added.
