It’s been around for decades. Used to be something that touted as the next big thing like 20 years ago and somehow that never happened. And here we are in 2021-2022 coming full circle. The evidence is severely lacking at this point. Not saying further research won’t prove otherwise but considering it’s been around for decades and it’s not on the WADA banned substance list, you can be rest assured it’s probably isn’t worth taking
Supplements come and go over the years like glutamine, BCAAs, HMB, different forms of creatine, etc. and people seem to forget about them at some point bc results never came. You know what has always been around and never became unpopular? Creatine monohydrate and protein. Why? Bc they work. And coincidentally are very cheap.
