Go slow and have a nice warm bowl of chicken broth or chicken soup. Then after sometime follow it with vegetables and chicken/fish/eggs which ever you feel like. I always love to finish off with chia seeds as a lemonade or include it in Greek yogurt as it prevents blood sugar spikes after eating a meal and also promotes a feeling of fullness.
After a 5 day fast? You can eat whatever you feel like.

The only time you need to worry is when you start reaching 1.5+ weeks. Or if you’re already super malnourished before starting the fast.
You’re completely overthinking this if you look at it any other way. You don’t need to sit there and eat fruits and tiny meals for 3 days. You don’t need to drink bone broth for 2 days before deciding to have a hardboiled egg. Anyone else telling you this is also completely over-thinking it.
If we went without food for a few days in the wilderness, do you think we’d be sitting there eating Miso soup and a hard boiled egg before we could eat a proper meal? No, we’d just scarf down the food in front of us, whatever it was.
