This is more of a hindsight question. How do you handle your IF schedule on the day of a physical where you have to skip a meal?
Context: I had my annual physical (paid for and required by my job) this past Tuesday at 2 pm. My last meal was at 4:30 pm on Monday.
I didn’t realize until much later that I was allowed to eat up to six hours before my exam, so I actually could have eaten breakfast. But by the time I realized that, it was too late.
So long story short, I ended doing an almost 24-hour fast by accident. While I didn’t starve, I’d like to be much smarter about it next time. Any tips on how to handle this situation? Thanks!

I plan ahead by a day or two to change my eating window. My window is 7am to 3pm but if I have a night out planned for Saturday I’ll start eating later on Friday and maybe switch to 10am to 6pm, then Saturday open my window at 2pm. Sunday I’ll do OMAD and just have lunch which sets me up for Monday back to normal

I’d say treat it like any other day…or shift to eat after. If you have blood work being done…probably gotta fast sone anyways. For me…it’s more about the day before or whatever…depending on time of blood work. Typically…they say 8 to 12 hours of fasting leading into it. I eat early…so try to do testing mid afternoon. If I ate late…I’d probably consider 2 meals that day…a small one early…rest after
