What to eat after fasting?

What should I eat after three days of fasting? I do not have access to bone broth and my stomach upsets very easily after fasting. Eggs do not upset my stomach, but I don’t want to eat only eggs, because after eating a few in a day they make me nauseous (I lose my appetite if that makes sense). Thus do you have any advice on easily digested foods to break a fast except bone broth and eggs?

Answer

I like a bit of yogurt or kefir. Then 1/2 hour later something else preferable an avocado but a slice of cheese in a pinch. Then normal eating (but I have to avoid wheat and sugar until the next meal or I get stomach pain)

Answer

After just 3 days it hardly matters. I usually break my fasts with carbs mixed with proteins, because they are really easy to break down and don’t stress your sleeping digestive system. Yoghurt in particular has the additional benefit of repopulating your gut bacteria, so I take 4 big spoons of yoghurt as my first meal. Three hours later come the boiled eggs or the hotdog ;)

As a side note, I am glad to see people no longer recommend fruits and veggies after a long fast, it was such a dumb advice.
