I’m going to look at this with two lenses:
- I appreciate the reminders. I’m just starting, but I think these things help people get over the cravings to some extent… or can anyway.
- I think some people ask because we/they don’t know. It’s not necessarily “Hey, I want to cheat at fasting,” but more of a “I don’t want to limit myself when I could be having something that’s perfectly fine” type of situation. This is especially true of noobs to it like me.
But, I appreciate the thoughts and really didn’t consider it a vent/rant… well, mostly not 🙂

I try to do what you call “true fasts” so that I don’t wreck/break my fast, but it’s frustrating when there is so much conflicting info. Like brushing your teeth before bed can spike your insulin but maybe not really…like wut?
