Why I drink so little water?

All those years I drink so little water and when I am fasting I drink even less.. I just can't and i don't know why. I see some recommending as high as 3,7L of water per day!! How is this even possible? The days I drink coffee and smoothies maybe I am over 2-2,5L but the other days not.. Should I worry? Now I try to do my 1st 7-day fast cause I have eczema staph and I tired of this situation.. I have drunk only 400ml so far and the day is ending. When I drink water is like my stomach is already full of it. Strange. Does it have to do with my diet? I am vegan the last years.

Answer

I have no scientific backing for this but a couple thoughts I have on it are:

Your body is constantly losing salt as you fast so your cells lose some of the water bound inside of them.

When you burn fat, the output is CO2 and Water.

Both of these could add a small amount of water to your system and reduce your intake needs.

Answer

The body knows what it needs; if you’re not at all thirsty, you’re urinating multiple times a day, zero headaches, zero dry mouth, etc., you might not need as much as others.🤷 Re: coffee and smoothies, if you’re talking about during fasting days, if you’re consuming smoothes you’re not fasting.

Answer

I only drink 2 L of water per day if I’m trying to detox.. Here’s an article of interest :
