Its about bioavailability. Just because you habe the nase ingredients in there doesnt mean our bodies are capable of extracting them. Lots of things need to be bound to other things for the body to properly absorb them
Calories.
Even if we could get all of the vitamins and minerals that we need into one pill, that’s only one reason why we eat. We also get all of the energy that we need for all of our activities and life functions from food. No pill can possibly contain that much digestible energy.
If we could get thousands of calories into a single pill, I bet our stomachs would growl before medication time the next day.
Whould you prefer to eat thousands of pills x day or some good tasting meals?Sure you can dry and powder food, then eat it and then drink a lot of water, if this is the way you prefer to eat food lol.You can even inject nutrients directly in your blood lol, it’s not safe anyway and require lot of measurements.
The human body is already so complex and it’s made to eat complex things. We have millions of cells to feed, brain synapses to provide for. A pill can’t give you that. Vitamins actually only help absorb things through food and the chemical reaction the body preforms to allow cells to take nutrients to every square inch of the body.
No a pill can’t do that. Even if we could come close your life expectancy would be hindered considerably.
As far as vitamins and minerals, you probably could. But your body needs calories too. Even just resting, thinking, and breathing burns a small amount of calories. I think if you did the absolute bare minimum of existing your body would still need 1000+ to sustain itself, and not just empty calories but protein, carbs, and fat. 2000 (ish) if you want to do normal life stuff.
You’re not going to get that amount of calories in a pill!
You need ~100 grams of protein per day. A pill weighs around a quarter of a gram. So you’d need 400 protein pills to meet that requirement alone; it would be about 400 calories.
If you get the rest of your calories from fat, you’d need 178 grams of fat to reach 2000 calories. If a gel capsule (like a fish oil pill) weighs one gram then you’d need around 180 pills per day.
So around 600 pills every day, or three square meals. Your choice.
